Creating an article

To create an article, you just need to follow the exact same steps as for a news. But an article is a little more complex than a news. An article is composed of:

A description: This can be considered as an abstract. When listed in a category, the description is shown.

A path: An article is accessible for the visitors through a web address composed of the path of the category for example /projects/Europe/ and the path of the article for example patents. That way the user will access the article through the web address yourwebsite.com/projects/Europe/patents A path is unique for each article in the website. You can't have 2 articles with the same path. A path is automatically proposed from the title you are typing in.

One or more pages: An article is composed of one more pages, you can consider them as sections in your article. Each section as its own page on the website. For example if your patents article has 3 pages you will access the pages through the web addresses:

Each page or section has a title. You need to save a first time the article with only the title, the path and the description to be able to add the first page.

Control of the order of the articles

Sometimes in the categories you want to control the order of the articles. It is easy to do that by starting the article title with a number followed by a period, like:

If you want to order more than 10 articles you must start the 10 articles with a 0, like:

Yes I am politically biased!

The numbers will be automatically removed when displayed on the website. You can also use this trick for the category names.
